Sheila was born in Shenandoah County and raised in the Martinsburg/Winchester area. After moving
back to Woodstock, she met and married her now late husband of 25 years and raised two daughters here.
Before entering the nonprofit world, Sheila spent 12 years in a corporate office working as a
Transportation Coordinator. In September of 2000, she was hired as the Services Coordinator at
Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter (SAS). Five years in, Sheila was promoted to Executive Director at SAS where she maintained that role until her retirement in September of 2021. A very short time later
though, in Spring of 2022, Sheila began working with FNFSR as our office administrator.
Sheila volunteers for the Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce as Chair of its Nonprofit Council.
She is very committed and involved in helping our community, and she often takes on other volunteer work to help. Sheila enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends; working part-time with FNFSR has allowed her to keep family as a top priority.
